Revive the Faith

Tentative goals led to fallen hope,
Sought what could never get.

Crashed were the dreams of those who fought,
Even those who refused to fight.
Against themselves, they never thought.

Return to base, the heartsoul of it all.
Hearing, judge to innocence.
Perhaps they received penance?

I got out yesterday, and renewed my hope.
To do my penance, like those who wish to redeem themselves.
Inner strength counts, to save yourself from abuse.
Help me, and I may return the favor.

Tomorrow horizons rise, for I saw it.
Not really, it simply sounded critical.

If you see the light, make sure of its certainty,
Your uncertain desire may land you hopelessness.
